Our food concept bears the signature of starred Andrea Ribaldone. A guarantee of quality and research, which translates into dishes masterfully proposed by our talented chef Baruzzi. Always new recipes in line with the philosophy of "Fresco, Italian and Simple", based on local products, fresh and seasonal raw materials, translated into healthy and tasty dishes, with an irresistible taste. Research, passion, experience and creativity guide the food project of our hotel, a long journey that reaches the table and reaches its maximum, and the tastiest, expression.
In a short time he relaunched the kitchen of Living Place Hotel Bologna with a simple but quality concept. And that touch of a master that comes from afar. We are talking about Marcello Baruzzi, born in 1968, a chef with a long experience in prestigious restaurants, including the Michelin-starred "La Frasca", or in 5-star hotels like the Grand Hotel in Rimini. A challenging and always growing journey that took him to the kitchen of Living Place Hotel. His creations include traditional dishes from Romagna and Bologna, like the historical and very tasty "tagliatella al ragout", but also creams of seasonal vegetables, risottos, braised meats, first and second courses based on fresh fish. Proposals devoted to simplicity, but with that magical touch that everybody appreciates so much.

By the Chef Busni
Along with Marcello in the kitchen there is Paolo Busni, another acclaimed chef, who also worked as a chef at the Carlton in Bologna and who every day, with a rolling pin and cutting board, as tradition says, prepares the homemade pasta. Pasta that is truly handmade, by his hands; patient, old, precise. Noodles, dumplings, strozzapreti, spaghetti, tortellini.

A place for socializing, meeting and pleasant sharing, Living Cafè is the lively lounge bar of Living Place Hotel. During the day, the bar is enlivened by a pleasant coming and going and it is at your disposal for a good coffee, a snack or a refreshing drink. In the evening, it is dressed in refined, relaxed and lively atmospheres and it is perfect for enjoying an aperitif or a magnificent cocktail after dinner accompanied by an enveloping background music.
Elegant Venue with a View
Every year, as summer approaches, we reopen our bioclimatic veranda, a space of which we are very proud. Large and bright thanks to the perimeter glazed walls, the veranda was renovated in 2018, offers a barbecue and overlooks the pool. The space, elegantly furnished, allows you to enjoy a breakfast, a lunch, a good aperitif or a candlelit dinner wrapped in the pleasant summer breeze. It is aso perfect for hosting private events thanks to bioclimatization, adjustable lighting, the curated fittings and strategic position between the restaurant and the outdoor area with the large pool side.
